Muzikale Leven
I am a flutist living in Bergerac in France. I initially focused on contemporary classical music, then on Brazilian choro music, and now on jazz. I followed the Jamey Aebersold summer jazz workshop in Louisville in 2016.
I played contemporary music with the ASKO Orchestra in Amsterdam in the 1980s. I played choro with Casa de Choro in Toulouse from 2005 to 2015. Choro is a Brazilian musical style with as prime example Tico-Tico no Fubá. I have now been playing jazz for the last ten years, mainly the standards.
Nowadays I play in the Jazz Orchestra of Dordogne, in the Bergerac Wind Orchestra, and in several online jazz jam sessions. In the Jazz Orchestra we play pieces based on Ethiopian and Malian scales.
You can reach me on JackTrip and JamKazam. I am open for new jazz projects.
